Relationship Between Psychological Empowerment and Job Satisfaction in Teachers

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between psychological empowerment and job satisfaction among teachers. The research method used is quantitative. The subjects of this study were 56 teachers working in one private high school. The research instrument used in this study is the scale of psychological empowerment and job satisfaction scale. Data analysis techniques in this study used product- moment correlation. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between psychological empowerment and job satisfaction. The relationship between variables is positive, which means better psychological empowerment and higher job satisfaction.
