The Influence of Education and Students' Attitudes on the Interest of Farming in Buton Regency
Abstract
The agricultural sector plays an important role in fulfilling human needs in the food sector and the role of the young generation in this case students need attention, so that they can be involved and take a role in the field of farming. This study aims: (1) To analyze the effect of student education on the interest in farming in Buton Regency; (2) To analyze the effect of student attitudes on interest in farming in Buton Regency; (3) To analyze the effect of education and student attitudes simultaneously on the interest in doing farming in Buton Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach. The technical data analysis in this study is to use multiple linear regression analysis. Partially, student education has a positive and significant effect on the interest in farming in Buton Regency, while the attitude of students has a positive and significant effect on the interest in doing farming in Buton Regency. In addition, simultaneously it can be concluded that student education and student attitudes simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on student interest in farming.
